Whether it’s driving, computer work, school work, hair styling, cooking, etc the focus is usually forward and posture tends to be an after thought. This leads to forward head posture and upper crossed syndrome. That means the muscles of the front (anterior) and back (posterior) of your neck and rib cage become out of balance and destabilized. This usually means pain for you! 

Tension headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain and limited range of motion (ROM) are incredibly common due to postural deviations. 

Sports Medicine Acupuncture is a great way to help naturally and safely alleviate pain and restore ROM.

We start out by doing manual muscle testing (MMT), which is not the same as Applied Kinesiology type muscle testing and assessing your ROM, then I use a combination of acupuncture, trigger point acupuncture (aka dry needling), manual therapy, and postural and corrective exercises to decrease inflammation, re-stabilize the joint, increase ROM and eliminate pain.
